She is a curator, performer, and cultural manager, and the founding partner and co-director of A Corner in the World. She holds expertise in international business ( BA), performing arts (M1), arts management, and cultural heritage (MA), with education in both Turkey and France. Throughout her career, Burcu has collaborated with a wide range of national and international organizations, including Spaces of Culture, ATÖLYE, bomontiada, Anadolu Kültür, Friche Laiterie, Global Heritage Fund, and Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory.
As an interdisciplinary artist, she has worked with Villa Theatre (FR), Altenburg State Theatre (DE), and ATTA Festival (TR), touring across Turkey, France, Greece, Germany, and Italy. In recent years, her focus has been on performing for young audiences. Burcu leads workshops on creative dance, improvisation, and soundpainting, working with diverse groups—including women, children, and marginalized communities—creating collaborative and multidisciplinary performances that emphasize inclusivity and creative expression.
She also contributes as an independent expert for the European Commission’s Creative Europe Program, European Institute of Innovation and Technology and Tarabya Cultural Academy (2025).
